If God hasn't spoken to us, nothing matters. If He has, and we believe that to be true, that's all that matters. Israel heard the voice of God speaking from the fire and survived. In the Ten Commandments, we God's direction and desire for how His people were to live. Before we think they are obsolete, archaic, or outdated, we should remember that Jesus elevated their requirements in His teachings. Beginning Wednesday, August 2nd, at 5:30pm, we will study these Ten Words in detail: their necessity, context, and application today.
